-Love-

Valentine's Day is approaching fast. Loves in the air, and everyone is thinking of that special someone in their life. There are some great love stories I've heard and some I've witnessed.
But I have a favorite I would like to share...

When I think love, I think of a man who was bruised, bleeding, torn, suffering, and broken. Nails pierced through his hands and feet into a cross. A crown of thorns pushed on his head, tearing, and ripping the flesh. They tore him of his garments. They spat on him and smote him. They mocked his name. He was stricken, despised, and rejected. This man was completely abused and beaten.... And he did it all for me.
That is love.
Jesus went through the most horrific torment just to save me and you. He knew others would reject him. He knew others wouldn't want to accept his free gift offer. Yet he did it anyways.

Isaiah 53:5
"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

His love for me is a love indescribable!  He knew I'd mess up, he knew I would fail him, he knew I would make mistakes, he knew where'd Id been... Still he loved me anyways. He picks me up when I fall, he forgives me when I mess up, he helps me when I make mistakes. He loves me!

Romans 5:8
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

I'm so thankful for the love of Christ!!!
