-Bent out of shape-

Even though injustice and mistreatment is a part of life, I get bent out of shape when I'm mistreated.
My only hope to get "unbent" is to mediate on the attitude of Christ.

Philippians 2:5-8
"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not to robbery to be equal with God:
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross."

Being God, he was called the devil.
Being loving, He was hated.
Being innocent, He was crucified.
Being King of Kings, He became a servant.
Being blameless, He took our blame.
Being sinless, He took our sin.

If Christ can be so mistreated, so disrespected and treated so worthless.... If Christ can can go thru such mistreatment, I can surely get over my mistreatment which is not near how he was treated.

There's a song that goes like this:

{He turned the other cheek, in a spirit quiet and meek. As a sheep before her shearer, so was he.
And by holding back his strength, He was anything but weak.
Just as Isaiah said He'd do, He turned the other cheek}

Matthew 5:39
"But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also."
Matthew 5:44
"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;"

God bless!
